Best WhatsApp Business API Provider in Oman (2026): Prices, Seats and Meta Fees Compared
Nine platforms that Omani businesses can sign up to today, compared on their own published pricing (checked 23 October 2026) and against Meta's new Oman rate card.
Short answer: no Omani telecom operator publishes a WhatsApp Business API product that we could find, so businesses in Muscat, Sohar and Salalah buy from international platforms. Three things decide the real monthly bill: the plan price and how it is billed (several are quarterly or annual), how many staff you must pay for, and whether Meta's fees reach you at cost. Go4whatsup is the only provider we found with an Oman pricing page in rials (OMR 15/month). QuickWA has the lowest paid entry price we found (from $5/month, about OMR 1.9), passes Meta's fees through with 0% markup and charges no per-seat fees. We make QuickWA, so every competitor figure below links to that provider's own page.
The comparison in one table
Prices are as each provider displayed them on 23 October 2026, in the currency the page showed. "Billed annually" means the monthly figure is only available if you pay for a year up front. Oman adds 5% VAT to most of these.
| Provider | Cheapest paid plan | How it is billed | Staff included | API / webhooks | Meta message fees |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| QuickWA | from $5/month (≈ OMR 1.9) | Monthly in USD; yearly 20% less | No per-seat fee | Developer API and signed webhooks | Invoiced by Meta to you directly, 0% markup |
| Go4whatsup | Standard OMR 15/month on its Oman page ($39 on its global page); has a free tier | Monthly; Oman page says prices exclude VAT | Standard: one flat fee for the whole team | API and webhooks on Standard | "Passes Meta rates through at cost", separate invoice line |
| YCloud | Growth $39/month; has a free tier | Monthly or yearly | 2, extra $10 each | On all plans | "Zero mark-up"; deducted from a YCloud wallet |
| respond.io | Starter $79/month | Price shown is for annual billing; monthly billing costs more | 5, extra $12 each | Developer API from Growth; webhooks on Advanced | Not included in any plan; you top up WhatsApp credit |
| Gallabox | Basic $150/month | Billed quarterly ($112/month if billed annually) | 3, hard cap | Message + Contact API on Basic; webhooks from Essential | Billed separately; Enterprise lists a "discounted markup" |
| SleekFlow | Essential US$49/month | Price shown is for yearly billing; plus US$15/month number hosting | 3, extra US$15 each | API from Pro; webhooks on Premium | Per SleekFlow's own rate card |
| Twilio | No plan fee | Pay as you go | Not seat-based (developer platform) | It is an API | Meta's fee + $0.005 per message, inbound or outbound |
| Wati | Prices shown only in Indian rupees to us | Quarterly view | Growth: 3 | Limited API calls on Growth; webhooks from Pro | Template charges billed separately; no markup stated |
| Whautomate | Prices shown only in Indian rupees to us | Monthly or yearly | Plus: 3 | Not stated on the pricing page | "0% markup or commission on WhatsApp fees" |
Wati and Whautomate both sell into the Gulf, but their pricing pages served us rupee prices only, so we have not converted or guessed their Omani price. Ask either for a written USD or OMR quote.
What Meta charges in Oman, whoever you choose
Since 1 October 2026 Oman has had its own line on Meta's rate card. Before that it was part of the "Rest of Middle East" group. Meta publishes Oman's rates in US dollars, per delivered message:
| Category | USD | ≈ OMR at 0.3845 | Change on 1 Oct 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marketing | $0.0341 | 0.0131 | Unchanged |
| Utility | $0.0247 | 0.0095 | Up from the $0.0091 Rest-of-Middle-East rate |
| Authentication | $0.0247 | 0.0095 | Up |
| Authentication — international | $0.06 | 0.0231 | New for Oman |
| Service | $0.0247 after 1,000 free per number per month | 0.0095 | Charged again after the free tier |
These numbers are the floor. A provider cannot sell you a +968 marketing message for less than $0.0341, so any quote that looks cheaper is either wrong or out of date. Our Oman pricing guide works through three full monthly budgets.
Two out-of-date Oman pages we found
When we checked on 23 October, Go4whatsup's Oman pricing page showed per-conversation rial rates that the page itself labels as "Meta's published India rates as of April 2026". Whautomate's Oman page lists the correct October rates but also says Oman is billed "under the Rest of Middle East rate card", which stopped being true on 1 October. Neither affects what Meta actually charges you, but it shows why you should check the rate card yourself rather than relying on a provider's summary.
Provider by provider
Go4whatsup
The most Oman-specific offer we found. Its Oman page quotes the Standard plan at OMR 15 a month, says Standard covers the whole team at one flat fee, and states that Meta's fees pass through at cost as a separate line. Its global page shows the same plan at $39 a month and also lists a free tier with a shared inbox for 2 agents. The rial and dollar figures are not reconciled on the site, so confirm which currency you will be invoiced in.
YCloud
Strong on developer access: API and webhooks are on every plan, including the free one. Growth is $39 a month with 2 users and $10 for each extra user. The page says there is no markup on WhatsApp messages, but fees are deducted from a wallet you fund in advance, so keep it topped up before a National Day campaign.
respond.io
An omnichannel inbox for teams that also run Instagram, Facebook and email. Starter is $79 a month on annual billing with 5 users. The page states plainly that WhatsApp fees are not included in any subscription. The Developer API starts on Growth ($159 a month on annual billing) and webhooks on Advanced.
Gallabox
Basic is $150 a month billed quarterly, or $112 a month billed annually, with a hard cap of 3 users. Webhooks start on Essential ($331 a month billed quarterly). Usage is billed separately, and the Enterprise tier advertises a "discounted markup" on template messages, so read its conversation-pricing page before comparing totals.
SleekFlow
The global page shows Essential at US$49 a month on yearly billing with 3 users, plus a US$15 monthly hosting fee for the WhatsApp number. API access starts on Pro. SleekFlow notes that prices vary by location, so an Omani quote may differ.
Twilio
For developers building their own interface. There is no plan fee, but Twilio adds $0.005 to every WhatsApp message in either direction, plus $0.001 for each failed message. On 20,000 messages a month that is about $100, or OMR 38.
Wati and Whautomate
Both are established in India and the Gulf. Wati bills quarterly and includes 3 users on Growth, with webhooks from Pro. Whautomate states a 0% markup on WhatsApp fees. Without a USD price on either page we cannot rank them on cost.
QuickWA
Plans start at $5 a month, billed in USD, monthly or yearly at 20% less. There is no setup fee and no per-seat fee, and Meta invoices your own WhatsApp Business Account directly, so there is no wallet to fund. AI, automation, calling and integrations are included from Pro. Every plan, feature and message limit is shown after sign-up. Features that matter in Oman: Arabic and English templates, an AI assistant that replies in the customer's language, Coexistence for an existing +968 number, consent tracking with automatic STOP handling, and a sending window you set yourself. What a markup costs an Omani business
Take a perfume retailer in Muscat sending 10,000 marketing and 8,000 utility messages a month. At Meta's rates that is $341.00 + $197.60 = $538.60, about OMR 207. The provider's model changes the total:
- At cost (QuickWA, Go4whatsup, YCloud, Whautomate as stated): $538.60 plus the plan fee.
- A $0.005 per-message platform fee: 18,000 × $0.005 adds 90 US dollars each month, or $1,080 a year (our arithmetic).
- A 10% markup on Meta's rates (an illustration, not any provider's published rate): $53.86 more each month, or $646 a year.
Seat fees add up in the same way. A Muscat showroom with 8 sales staff on a plan that includes 5 users and charges $12 for each extra pays $36 a month on top of the plan before it sends a single message.
When to pick someone else
- You want an invoice in rials from a provider with an Oman pricing page. Go4whatsup is the only one we found.
- You run Instagram, Facebook, email and WhatsApp from one inbox and already use respond.io or SleekFlow elsewhere. Staying on one platform may be worth the seat cost.
- You are building WhatsApp into your own app and want raw APIs with no inbox at all. Twilio or YCloud are built for that.
- You need an enterprise contract with a named account manager and custom terms. Gallabox and respond.io both sell enterprise tiers.
Verify any provider in 10 minutes
- Open Meta's rate card and note Oman's four rates. Any provider quote should match or add to them, never undercut them.
- Ask who invoices the message fees. Either Meta bills your own WhatsApp Business Account, or the provider does. If the provider does, ask for its per-message rate for +968 numbers in writing.
- Ask for a quote in the currency you will pay and whether 5% Omani VAT is included.
- Count your real users, including branch staff and drivers who reply from their phones, and price the plan at that number.
- Check whether the plan includes the API and webhooks if you connect a booking system, POS or store.
- Confirm the WhatsApp Business Account is in your own name. If you leave the provider you keep your number, templates and quality history.
