Best WhatsApp Business API Provider in Bahrain (2026): Prices, Seats and Meta Fees Compared

Very few WhatsApp platforms price in Bahraini dinars, so most Manama businesses end up comparing USD, AED and rupee price pages. Here is the comparison done for you, with every figure taken from the provider's own page on 23 October 2026.

Short answer: for a Bahraini business, three things decide what you actually pay: the plan price and how it is billed (several are quarterly or annual), how many agents are included before per-seat charges start, and whether Meta's message fees reach you at cost. Of the providers we checked, only Go4whatsup publishes a BHD price (BHD 15/month Standard, plus a free plan). QuickWA has the lowest paid entry price we found (from $5/month, about BHD 1.88). It adds 0% markup to Meta's fees and charges no per-seat fees. YCloud and Go4whatsup also say Meta's fees reach you at cost. We make QuickWA, so every competitor figure below links to that competitor's own pricing page.

The comparison in one table

Prices are as each provider displayed them on 23 October 2026. A BHD figure in brackets is our conversion at the Central Bank of Bahrain's 0.376 peg. Providers that price only in AED or rupees are converted nowhere: we show what they publish.

Wati's pricing page served us Indian-rupee prices only, so we could not verify a figure that applies to Bahrain and have left it out. Tawasel says businesses elsewhere in the GCC should contact it for a USD or SAR quote, and does not mention Bahrain.

What Meta charges for Bahraini numbers

Whichever provider you choose, Meta's per-message fees are the same. Bahrain is billed under Meta's "Rest of Middle East" rate card:

CategoryMeta's rate (USD)≈ BHD
Marketing$0.03920.0147
Utility$0.00910.0034
Authentication$0.00910.0034
Service (after 1,000 free per number per month)$0.00910.0034

Remember that Meta prices by the recipient's country code. Your Saudi customers on +966 numbers are billed at Saudi rates ($0.0576 for marketing). Our Bahrain pricing guide works through three monthly bills in BHD.

What a margin on messages costs in Bahrain

Bahrain's marketing rate is lower than the UAE's or Saudi Arabia's, so a percentage margin costs less in absolute terms here. It still adds up. Take a Manama retailer sending 8,000 marketing messages a month:

  • At Meta's rate: 8,000 × $0.0392 = $313.60 (≈ BHD 117.91).
  • With a 15% margin: $313.60 × 1.15 = $360.64, an extra $47.04 a month or $564.48 a year (≈ BHD 212.24). That is our arithmetic, not any named provider's published rate.
  • With a $0.005 per-message platform fee (Twilio's published rate): 8,000 × $0.005 = $40 a month on outbound alone, plus the same on every inbound customer message.

With QuickWA, the message line is exactly Meta's. You connect your own WhatsApp Business Account through Meta's embedded signup, add a payment method in Meta, and Meta invoices you directly. QuickWA has no wallet, no credits and no top-ups, so there is nothing to mark up.

Provider by provider

Go4whatsup

The only provider we found with a dedicated Bahrain pricing page and a dinar price. Standard is BHD 15 a month (the same page also shows "$39/mo", which is close to BHD 15 at the peg), with what it calls unlimited team seats. There is a free-forever plan, and annual prepay is discounted. Go4whatsup says Meta's rates are passed through at cost on a separate invoice line, and that 10% VAT applies for Bahrain-based customers. Two cautions. The AI chatbot is a paid add-on on Standard. And the Meta rate table on its Bahrain page is footnoted as "Meta's published India rates as of April 2026", so do not budget from it. Use Meta's Bahrain figures above.

YCloud

Free plan, then Growth $39, Pro $89 and Enterprise $399 a month. API and webhooks are on every plan, including Free, and YCloud advertises zero markup on WhatsApp messages. The constraint is seats: Growth includes 2 and Pro 6, with extra users at $10 each. That suits a two-person shop in Riffa but gets expensive for a call centre.

SleekFlow

Essential $49, Pro $109 and Premium $279 a month. On top of the plan there is a WhatsApp number hosting fee of $15 a month, and broadcast message fees "vary by template, country and volume" on SleekFlow's own rate card. API access starts at Pro, and webhook automations at Premium. Strong omnichannel product, so worth a look if Instagram DMs matter as much as WhatsApp to you.

respond.io

Starter $99 a month ($79 billed yearly) with 5 users, Growth $199 ($159) with 10, Advanced $349 ($279) with 10. Extra users cost $12 to $24 a month depending on plan. The page says WhatsApp fees are not included in any subscription and that you top up WhatsApp credit on its platform; it does not state a markup. The developer API starts at Growth and incoming/outgoing webhooks at Advanced. Mature and well reviewed, but the most expensive entry point here.

Gallabox

Basic $150, Essential $331 and Advanced $632 a month billed quarterly ($112, $248 and $474 billed yearly), also shown in AED and rupees but not BHD. Basic is hard-capped at 3 users and has no webhooks. Message fees sit on a separate country rate page; the Enterprise column lists a "discounted markup" and "Template message charges 5% Off", which implies the other plans carry a margin.

Tawasel and Twilio

Tawasel is a UAE-built platform priced in AED (Starter AED 99, Growth AED 279, Pro AED 549 a month, excluding UAE VAT) with Arabic and English AI; Bahraini buyers would need to ask for a quote. Twilio is not an inbox product at all: it is the API you would build your own on, at Meta's fee plus $0.005 per message.

What matters specifically in Bahrain

Whoever you shortlist, check these five things, because they are where Bahraini businesses differ from the UAE or Saudi buyers most vendor pages are written for:

  1. Mixed-country lists. Can you segment by +973, +966 and +965 before a broadcast? Saudi weekend visitors are a large share of many hotel, restaurant and retail lists, and they cost more per message.
  2. Seats for small teams. Most Bahraini SMEs have three to eight people answering WhatsApp. A plan that includes two seats and charges $10 to $24 for each extra one can cost more than the plan itself.
  3. Arabic and English templates, plus your expat customers. Non-Bahrainis are about 53% of residents (IGA estimate, December 2024). You may need templates in languages beyond Arabic and English, which Meta supports.
  4. Payments people actually use. BenefitPay is the everyday wallet here: BENEFIT's deputy CEO told Zawya the app had more than 1.2 million subscribers in a population of 1.6 million. No WhatsApp platform we checked lists a BenefitPay integration, so ask how a provider handles payment links and confirmations in practice.
  5. Data protection. Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (No. 30 of 2018) requires written, explicit consent and lets customers object to direct marketing. Ask for consent tracking and automatic opt-outs. See our Bahrain marketing rules guide.

What QuickWA includes for Bahraini businesses

  • Plans from $5/month in USD, monthly or yearly at 20% less, $0 setup and no per-seat fees. Every plan, feature and limit is shown after sign-up.
  • Official WhatsApp Cloud API through Meta's embedded signup, including Coexistence so you can keep using the WhatsApp Business app on your existing +973 number.
  • Shared team inbox with assignment and notes, plus an Android app for the team.
  • Broadcasts to segments, drip journeys and A/B tests, with a sending window you set in Settings; scheduled broadcasts wait until it reopens.
  • Consent tracking and automatic STOP opt-outs, and a number quality view.
  • Arabic (right-to-left) and English templates, plus other Meta-supported languages.
  • AI, automation, calling and integrations are included from Pro: an AI knowledge-base bot and agent assist that reply in Arabic or English, a no-code chatbot and visual flow builder, appointment booking, Shopify, WooCommerce, Salla, Foodics, Property Finder lead capture, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Bitrix24, Calendly, Google Sheets, Meta Lead Ads and Zapier.

When to pick someone else

  • You want a dinar invoice from a vendor that markets itself to Bahrain: Go4whatsup is the only one we found that prices in BHD.
  • You need Instagram, Messenger and web chat in one heavily customised workspace: respond.io and SleekFlow are built for omnichannel teams.
  • You are building your own product on raw messaging: Twilio is an API, not an inbox, and is designed for that.
  • Two people, low volume, and you want to start at $0: the free plans from Go4whatsup and YCloud are a reasonable start, as long as their limits fit.

Verify any provider in 10 minutes

  1. Ask the per-message price for a Bahraini marketing message. If it is not $0.0392, the difference is their margin.
  2. Ask who invoices Meta's fees. Meta billing your own WhatsApp Business Account directly is the cleanest arrangement.
  3. Count seats at your real team size, including the weekend and Ramadan evening shift.
  4. Check the billing period. "Per month, billed quarterly" means three months up front.
  5. Check webhooks and API on the plan you will buy, not just on the top tier.
  6. Ask whether you own the WhatsApp Business Account. If you leave, can you take your number, templates and quality history with you?
