Best WhatsApp Business API providers in the UAE (2026), compared on price

Published AED pricing, the cost line that grows faster than any subscription, and an honest note on where we are not your best option.

WhatsApp platform pricing in the UAE runs several times higher than the same software costs in India, and the reason is rarely the product — it is what the market has been willing to pay. This page puts the published AED prices side by side, explains the cost line that grows faster than any subscription, and tells you plainly where we would not be your best choice. We are one of the providers listed, so verify everything using the checklist at the end.

⚡ The short version

QuickWA publishes AED 99 / 249 / 549 per month for Starter, Growth and Scale. The most visible competing UAE platform publishes roughly AED 330 / 730 / 1,390 — broadly three times more at every tier. All prices exclude Meta's per-message charges, which every provider bills separately, and QuickWA adds 0% markup on those. There is also a 7-day free trial with no card, an AED invoice ready for VAT reverse-charge, and no setup fee.

Other UAE-serving providers include Unifonic, WACTO, Rasayel and GreenAds Global; several do not publish AED list pricing, which is itself worth noting when you are comparing.

The practical read: our Growth plan at AED 249 carries the automation and commerce feature set that competing platforms typically place in a tier costing three to five times as much. If your requirement is a shared inbox plus broadcasts, Starter at AED 99 already covers it.

Two things specific to running WhatsApp in the UAE

Getting a +971 number

This trips up more UAE businesses than pricing does. Your options, honestly ranked:

RouteWhat it needsReliability for Meta verification
e& (Etisalat) or du business lineUAE trade licence + authorised signatory's Emirates IDHighest. A landline is fine — Meta verifies by voice call
A number you already own, any countryNothing. It must not be active on WhatsApp right nowHigh — and you can be live today
+971 virtual number from a licensed providerUsually still a trade licence or UAE address, due to TDRA rulesMixed. Confirm it receives international incoming calls before paying
Throwaway / temporary number sitesDo not. Not supported for the Business API and risks a ban

The point most providers will not tell you: you do not need a +971 number at all. The API works on a number from any country, and your customers see your verified business name at the top of the chat, not the country code. If you do not have a UAE entity yet, start on the number you already own and move to a +971 later — switching is straightforward. Full detail in our UAE setup guide.

VAT and invoicing

Ask for an AED invoice carrying your TRN. QuickWA bills in Dirhams with a proper invoice ready for VAT reverse-charge treatment. A provider that can only invoice you in USD or INR creates avoidable accounting work every month.

How we compared — and how to check us

Three rules kept this page honest, because a rigged comparison is worth nothing to you and would not survive a single fact-check.

1. Our own numbers come from our billing system, not our marketing. Every QuickWA price, agent count and message allowance below is what the platform actually provisions when you subscribe.

2. Competitor numbers are published prices, dated. We list what each provider publishes and when we checked. We have not tested every competitor's product end to end, and we say so rather than implying we have.

3. Prices move. Everything here was checked on 8 September 2026. Before you commit, open each provider's own pricing page. If we are out of date, tell us and we will correct it.

⚠️ One thing every provider's pricing page leaves out

Meta bills you separately, per template message, based on the recipient's country and the message category. No platform fee includes that. So the real question is not "whose monthly plan is cheapest" — it is "whose monthly plan is cheapest and who does not add a markup on top of Meta's rate". Those are different questions and the second one costs far more at volume.

The two-part cost nobody explains properly

Your WhatsApp bill has two lines, and providers are loudest about the smaller one.

Line one: the platform fee. The monthly subscription for the software — inbox, broadcasts, automation, analytics. This is the number on every pricing page.

Line two: Meta's per-message charge. Paid on every delivered template message. Some platforms pass Meta's rate through at cost. Others add a markup — Wati, for example, is reported to add roughly 20% per message on top of Meta's charge.

Run the arithmetic before you choose. A platform that is a few hundred cheaper per month but adds 20% to every message will overtake it the moment you start broadcasting seriously. At 50,000 marketing messages a month, a 20% markup is a bigger line item than most subscriptions on this page.

QuickWA adds 0% markup. You connect your own Meta WhatsApp Business Account through Login with Facebook, and Meta bills you directly at Meta's published rate. We never sit in the middle of that transaction — there is no message wallet, no credit top-up and no per-message margin anywhere in our billing. You can verify this yourself: your message charges appear on your own Meta account, not on your QuickWA invoice.

What changes on 1 October 2026

One dated fact worth budgeting for, because it changes the maths for support-heavy businesses. Meta moved from per-conversation to per-message billing on 1 July 2025. It is now reported that from 1 October 2026, free-form replies inside the 24-hour customer service window — free until now — become billable as well. Check Meta's current pricing documentation before you model a budget on the older “replies are free” assumption. This affects every provider on this page equally; it is a Meta change, not a platform one.

When you should pick someone else

A comparison page where the author wins every category is an advertisement. Here is where we genuinely would not be the right answer.

You need a decade-long track record for a procurement process. Several providers on this page have been operating far longer and are established Meta Business Partners with enterprise references. If your buying process weighs vendor age and named enterprise logos heavily, that is a real advantage and we do not have it yet.

You need deep omnichannel beyond WhatsApp. If your requirement is one inbox spanning WhatsApp plus Instagram, Messenger, live chat, email and SMS with equal depth in each, platforms built as omnichannel suites will fit better. QuickWA is WhatsApp-first by design.

You need on-premise hosting or a specific regional data-residency guarantee. That is enterprise BSP territory.

You want to talk to a named account manager before you sign anything. We are self-serve first — you can start without talking to anyone, which most people prefer, but it is the opposite of what some buyers want.

Everywhere else — price, feature depth per rupee or dirham, and the absence of a message markup — we think the numbers below speak for themselves.

How to verify any of this in ten minutes

Do not take our word for it, or anyone's. Four checks settle it:

Ask every provider one question in writing: “Do you add any markup to Meta's per-message rate, and if so, how much?” The answer, in writing, is the single most valuable number in your decision. Providers that pass through at cost will say so immediately.

Check the agent count against the plan you would actually buy, not the headline tier. Per-agent pricing is where subscriptions quietly double.

Ask what happens to your data and your number if you leave. Your WhatsApp Business Account should be yours, on your own Meta Business Manager — not held inside the provider's account.

Start on a free plan or a trial before paying. If a provider has neither, that itself is information.

Try it on your own number — 7 days, no card

Connect your WhatsApp number in about two minutes. Arabic and English templates, AED billing, and a real person on WhatsApp if you get stuck.

Frequently asked questions

Which WhatsApp Business API provider is cheapest in the UAE?

On published AED pricing as of September 2026, QuickWA is the lowest at AED 99, 249 and 549 per month for Starter, Growth and Scale. The most visible competing UAE platform publishes roughly AED 330, 730 and 1,390 — around three times more at each tier. Meta's per-message charges are separate on every platform.

Why is WhatsApp platform software more expensive in the UAE than India?

Mostly market pricing rather than cost. The same category of software commonly lists at three to four times the Indian price for UAE buyers. It is worth comparing what a plan actually provisions — agents, contacts, included messages and which features are gated — rather than assuming a higher price buys more.

Do I need a +971 number to use the WhatsApp Business API in the UAE?

No. The API works with a number from any country, and customers see your verified business name rather than the country code. If you do want a +971 line, e& (Etisalat) or du require a UAE trade licence and the authorised signatory's Emirates ID. Meta can verify a landline by voice call, so a business landline is fine.

Does QuickWA add a markup on Meta's per-message rates in the UAE?

No — 0%. You connect your own Meta WhatsApp Business Account and Meta bills you directly at its published rate. There is no message wallet, credit top-up or per-message margin in our billing, so your message charges appear on your own Meta account rather than on your QuickWA invoice.

Can I get an AED invoice with my TRN for VAT?

Yes. QuickWA bills in Dirhams and issues an invoice with your business details and TRN, ready for VAT reverse-charge treatment. You can add your TRN in the billing details step when you subscribe, or leave it blank and add it later.
