Best WhatsApp Business API providers in India (2026), compared on price

Published pricing, the message markup most pages leave out, and an honest note on where we are not your best option.

Every “best WhatsApp API provider” list in India is written by one of the providers, and you can usually tell within two paragraphs. This one is written by us, so read it with that in mind — and then use the verification checklist at the end to check every claim yourself. What follows is the published pricing of the main Indian platforms as of September 2026, the one cost line most of them under-explain, and an honest note on where we would not be your best choice.

⚡ The short version

On published monthly pricing, QuickWA is the cheapest way to get a full-feature WhatsApp platform in India: ₹0 free plan, ₹999/month Pro with the AI bot, chatbot builder, journeys, A/B testing and commerce included, and ₹3,999 once for Unlimited — a lifetime licence, not a subscription. Competing platforms with comparable feature sets publish roughly ₹2,399–₹3,500 per month. And QuickWA adds 0% markup on Meta's per-message rates, which at broadcast volume matters more than the subscription.

What ₹999 actually buys on each platform

Price alone is meaningless without the feature line. Here is what QuickWA's ₹999 Pro plan provisions — taken from our billing system, not our homepage:

QuickWA Pro — ₹999/monthIncluded
Team members on one number5
Contacts10,000
Template messages / month15,000
Replies from customersUnlimited — never counted
Shared team inbox, assignment, round-robinYes
Broadcasts & campaignsYes, no contact limit
AI bot on your own knowledge baseYes
No-code chatbot & flow builderYes
Drip journeys, A/B testing, retargetingYes
Catalog, payments, orders, Shopify & WooCommerceYes
Sales pipeline (CRM) & appointmentsYes
Click-to-WhatsApp ad lead captureYes

The comparison that matters: on most competing platforms, the AI bot, chatbot builder, drip journeys and commerce features sit in a higher tier — typically the ₹2,399–₹3,500 per month band. That is the gap. You are not choosing between ₹999 and ₹999; you are choosing between ₹999 and roughly two and a half times that for the same capability set.

The lifetime plan changes the arithmetic entirely

QuickWA Unlimited is ₹3,999 paid once — a lifetime licence with unlimited agents, unlimited contacts and unlimited messages, not a recurring subscription. Against a competing platform at roughly ₹2,500 per month for a comparable tier, it pays for itself in under two months and costs nothing thereafter.

Total cost of ownershipQuickWA UnlimitedA ~₹2,500/mo competing tier
Month 2₹3,999₹5,000
Year 1₹3,999₹30,000
Year 3₹3,999₹90,000

Two honest caveats on that table. It compares platform fees only — Meta's per-message charges are yours either way. And a lifetime licence is only worth what the platform is worth in year three, which is a judgement about us you are entitled to make carefully.

How we compared — and how to check us

Three rules kept this page honest, because a rigged comparison is worth nothing to you and would not survive a single fact-check.

1. Our own numbers come from our billing system, not our marketing. Every QuickWA price, agent count and message allowance below is what the platform actually provisions when you subscribe.

2. Competitor numbers are published prices, dated. We list what each provider publishes and when we checked. We have not tested every competitor's product end to end, and we say so rather than implying we have.

3. Prices move. Everything here was checked on 8 September 2026. Before you commit, open each provider's own pricing page. If we are out of date, tell us and we will correct it.

⚠️ One thing every provider's pricing page leaves out

Meta bills you separately, per template message, based on the recipient's country and the message category. No platform fee includes that. So the real question is not "whose monthly plan is cheapest" — it is "whose monthly plan is cheapest and who does not add a markup on top of Meta's rate". Those are different questions and the second one costs far more at volume.

The two-part cost nobody explains properly

Your WhatsApp bill has two lines, and providers are loudest about the smaller one.

Line one: the platform fee. The monthly subscription for the software — inbox, broadcasts, automation, analytics. This is the number on every pricing page.

Line two: Meta's per-message charge. Paid on every delivered template message. Some platforms pass Meta's rate through at cost. Others add a markup — Wati, for example, is reported to add roughly 20% per message on top of Meta's charge.

Run the arithmetic before you choose. A platform that is a few hundred cheaper per month but adds 20% to every message will overtake it the moment you start broadcasting seriously. At 50,000 marketing messages a month, a 20% markup is a bigger line item than most subscriptions on this page.

QuickWA adds 0% markup. You connect your own Meta WhatsApp Business Account through Login with Facebook, and Meta bills you directly at Meta's published rate. We never sit in the middle of that transaction — there is no message wallet, no credit top-up and no per-message margin anywhere in our billing. You can verify this yourself: your message charges appear on your own Meta account, not on your QuickWA invoice.

What changes on 1 October 2026

One dated fact worth budgeting for, because it changes the maths for support-heavy businesses. Meta moved from per-conversation to per-message billing on 1 July 2025. It is now reported that from 1 October 2026, free-form replies inside the 24-hour customer service window — free until now — become billable as well. Check Meta's current pricing documentation before you model a budget on the older “replies are free” assumption. This affects every provider on this page equally; it is a Meta change, not a platform one.

The providers, briefly and fairly

AiSensy

The most widely recommended Indian platform, and reasonably so — broad feature set, large customer base, strong broadcast tooling. Published plans run roughly ₹999 Basic, ₹2,399 Pro and ₹3,599 Enterprise per month. The Basic tier is where the entry price matches ours; the feature parity is higher up.

Interakt

Popular with D2C e-commerce and notable for publishing per-conversation pricing on every tier, which is more transparent than most. Billed quarterly: ₹3,499, ₹7,699 and ₹10,499 per quarter. Quarterly billing means a larger cheque up front.

Wati

Strong with small teams and an easy start — ₹999 one-time for 500 message credits over three months is genuinely the cheapest way to simply try the API. The thing to check before scaling is the reported ~20% per-message markup, which is the cost line that grows with you.

DoubleTick

Chatbot-first positioning, roughly ₹1,200 to ₹5,000 per month with limited included messaging. Worth a look if a bot is your primary requirement rather than a shared inbox.

QuickWA

Free plan with no card, ₹999/month for the full feature set, ₹3,999 once for unlimited, 0% message markup, and setup in about two minutes with Login with Facebook. Newer than the platforms above — that is the honest trade.

When you should pick someone else

A comparison page where the author wins every category is an advertisement. Here is where we genuinely would not be the right answer.

You need a decade-long track record for a procurement process. Several providers on this page have been operating far longer and are established Meta Business Partners with enterprise references. If your buying process weighs vendor age and named enterprise logos heavily, that is a real advantage and we do not have it yet.

You need deep omnichannel beyond WhatsApp. If your requirement is one inbox spanning WhatsApp plus Instagram, Messenger, live chat, email and SMS with equal depth in each, platforms built as omnichannel suites will fit better. QuickWA is WhatsApp-first by design.

You need on-premise hosting or a specific regional data-residency guarantee. That is enterprise BSP territory.

You want to talk to a named account manager before you sign anything. We are self-serve first — you can start without talking to anyone, which most people prefer, but it is the opposite of what some buyers want.

Everywhere else — price, feature depth per rupee or dirham, and the absence of a message markup — we think the numbers below speak for themselves.

How to verify any of this in ten minutes

Do not take our word for it, or anyone's. Four checks settle it:

Ask every provider one question in writing: “Do you add any markup to Meta's per-message rate, and if so, how much?” The answer, in writing, is the single most valuable number in your decision. Providers that pass through at cost will say so immediately.

Check the agent count against the plan you would actually buy, not the headline tier. Per-agent pricing is where subscriptions quietly double.

Ask what happens to your data and your number if you leave. Your WhatsApp Business Account should be yours, on your own Meta Business Manager — not held inside the provider's account.

Start on a free plan or a trial before paying. If a provider has neither, that itself is information.

See it for yourself — free, no card

Connect your WhatsApp number in about two minutes and use the shared inbox, broadcasts and bot on the free plan. Upgrade only when it is obviously worth it.

Frequently asked questions

Which WhatsApp Business API provider is cheapest in India?

On published platform pricing as of September 2026, QuickWA is the cheapest full-feature option: a free plan, Pro at Rs 999 per month, and Unlimited at Rs 3,999 paid once as a lifetime licence. Comparable feature tiers from AiSensy, Interakt and DoubleTick publish roughly Rs 2,399 to Rs 3,500 per month. Remember that Meta's per-message charges are separate and apply on every platform.

Do WhatsApp API providers add a markup on Meta's message rates?

Some do. Wati is reported to add roughly 20% per message on top of Meta's charge. QuickWA adds 0% — you connect your own Meta WhatsApp Business Account and Meta bills you directly at its published rate, so there is no message wallet or per-message margin. Ask every provider this question in writing before you sign; at broadcast volume it matters more than the subscription.

Is there a free WhatsApp Business API plan in India?

QuickWA has a free plan with no card required — one WhatsApp number, a one-agent team inbox, templates, contacts and basic analytics. Most other Indian platforms do not publish a free tier, only paid plans or a trial. Meta's own per-message charges still apply when you send paid template categories.

Is QuickWA's Unlimited plan really a one-time payment?

Yes. Unlimited is Rs 3,999 paid once as a lifetime licence with unlimited agents, contacts and messages, rather than a monthly subscription. Against a competing tier at around Rs 2,500 per month it pays for itself in under two months. Meta's per-message charges remain separate and are billed to you by Meta.

What should I ask a provider before choosing?

Four questions settle it: do you add any markup to Meta's per-message rate and how much; how many agents are included on the plan I would actually buy; does my WhatsApp Business Account stay on my own Meta Business Manager if I leave; and is there a free plan or trial so I can test before paying.
